Palestinian media reported that the IDF launched a wide-scale raid in the southwestern part of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza, marking a change in Israeli policy in the area, amid Israel-Hamas cease-fire negotiations.
According to the reports, dozens of people were wounded in the raid, including women, children and the elderly.
German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul has called on Israel to take urgent steps to prevent famine in the Gaza Strip ahead of a meeting with his Israeli counterpart Gideon Saar in Vienna.
Israel is prosecuting Or Beilin, 27, from Be'er Ya'akov in central Israel, on suspicion that he carried out dozens of missions for an Iranian agent to harm state security.
According to the indictment, Beilin was in contact with an agent who identified himself as "Yoni" for approximately four months. In exchange for carrying out the missions, he reportedly received approximately $9,000.
