The mother of an 18-year-old stabbed to death with a kitcken knife by a 15-year-old girl in a cocaine-fulled frenzy has lashed out at the murderer's release - describing it as a 'ticking time bomb'.
Samantha Madgin, who had recently became a mother herself, was enjoying her first night out since giving birth to her son Callum, when she was knifed repeatedly by Jordan Jobson in Wallsend, North Tyneside in August 2007.
Killer Jobson, who was just 15, launched the unprovoked attack after binging on alcohol and drugs and left the new mother with 43 cuts including 10 deep stab wounds before she bled to death.
After hearing some of her friends had been involved in a street fight, she attacked Samantha, who was not involved, with a kitchen knife before fleeing the scene.
Jobson, from Walker in Newcastle, was convicted of murder and jailed for life. She was originally handed a minimum term of 15 years, which was reduced to 11 years after two appeals.
