Nigel Farage has met with US President Donald Trump in the Oval Office shortly after lambasting Sir Keir Starmer's online safety laws as 'awful' and 'authoritarian.'
The Clacton MP, 61, has been in Washington DC and skipping Parliament's first week back, to give evidence to the House Judiciary Committee, which is investigating the impact of the UK's Online safety Act on US citizens.
Today, the Reform Leader took to X to share a photo of himself standing behind the famed Resolute desk alongside a smiling Trump, with the caption: 'It's good to be back in the Oval Office.'
It comes after Mr Farage hit out at the UK's Online Safety Act, likening Britain to North Korea when it came to civil liberties.
He warned Americans - including tech moguls - could face being detained at Heathrow over online content disliked by British authorities amid the arrest of Graham Lineham.
