Madurai TASMAC outlets to implement empty liquor bottle return scheme from September 1, customers pay extra ₹10 per bottle.
In accordance with the Madras High Court Madurai Bench’s direction, empty liquor bottle return scheme is set to be implemented in TASMAC outlets in Madurai (South) and Madurai (North) from September 1.
The scheme is initiated to protect the environment and prevent customers from littering empty liquor bottles in public places, said a district administration’s press statement on Sunday.
