A youth from Thrissur, accused of sexually abusing a model in Kochi, has been sent in police custody after he surrendered before the Ernakulam Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Court.

The Ernakulam North police had registered a case against the accused, identified as Prashobh, 36, of Kaipamangalam in Thrissur, based on a complaint filed by the survivor.
