“The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox” is one of the top shows on Hulu right now, according to the streamer’s public ranking system.
The true crime limited series dramatizes the conviction of Knox (played by Grace Van Patten) — the American college student who was accused of murdering her roommate, Meredith Kercher, in 2007 while studying abroad in Italy — and her 16-year fight to prove her innocence.
Knox serves as an executive producer on the eight-part series alongside Monica Lewinsky and creator KJ Steinberg. The cast includes Sharon Horgan, John Hoogenakker, Francesco Acquaroli, Giuseppe De Domenico and Roberta Mattei.
The first two episodes premiered on Aug. 20, to be followed by weekly drops on Wednesdays.
