The chilling series explores some of the most brutal and high profile murder trials and investigations, plunging viewers straight into the heart of the criminal justice system.With a focus on American killings, viewers witness the exploration of a crime as well as the investigation, courtroom testimonies and the final verdicts, seeing a case from start to finish.Having first been released in America in 2020, there have been six instalments so far, with each episode focusing on a new case, featuring exclusive behind the scenes footage.The episodes also include first hand accounts from law enforcement, forensic experts and witnesses as viewers are placed in the shoes of a jury.All six seasons are currently available to stream on Channel 4, with episodes being branded as "horrific". Part of True Crime on Channel 4."Channel 4 viewers have only just discovered lately that Killer Cases is home to the episode titled 'Murder on Wheels' focusing on Mackenzie Shirilla after The Crash was released on Netflix this month.'Murder on Wheels' is an episode focusing on the same case and the circumstances around the crash, sitting at episode 12 in its fourth season.Other episodes include 'The TikTok Killer', delving in to a disturbing act of violence that shocked fans of a famous TikTok couple, as well as 'Murder at a House Party which delves into the moment a masked intruder stormed into a party, killing three young members of the LGBTQ+ community.However, Channel 4 warns that the show is "not suitable for younger viewers", adding some episodes contain "graphic scenes of homicide". With viewer discretion advised, some episodes also contain "disturbing images".The series is a must watch for fans of true crime, in particular 24 Hours in Police Custody and Catching a Killer, which also gives unprecedented access into an investigation.Over on IMD b, one reviewer previously wrote: "First off this show isn't exactly perfect but it is solid.
