Kate Gosselin is revealing why she returned to her nursing career after leaving reality TV behind.
The former "Jon & Kate Plus 8" star posted a TikTok video on Monday, Aug. 11, about her 12-hour day as a home health care nurse and took to the comments to respond to a fan who asked about her career change.
"Honestly? Providing for 8 kids, college funds which I am proud to say covered all of their college and more and LAWYERS," Gosselin replied.
She continued: "Sickening but I was drug into court constantly and that costs A TON. Sad bc my kids could have a lot more saved and I could have a retirement saved if it weren’t for lawyers :(. It's okay. I'm helping other families and I feel needed and I enjoy helping!"
She shared in another comment: "Raised and supported 8 kids alone and now they have enough college money to go to college and beyond! I achieved my goal but have no personal retirement 😢"
