Former Chancellor George Osborne's brother had been handed a 12-month driving ban after being caught speeding in his £30,000 Audi.

Benedict Osborne, 52, was clocked speeding on the busy Westway Flyover in Hammersmith and Fulham, west London on July 29, 2024.

Attending a hearing at Lavender Hill Magistrates' Court today, the millionaire accepted a £268 fine for the driving offence.

Osborne already had 12 points on his licence after being caught speeding at 108mph in a Porsche on the M1 near Northampton in 2021, the court was told.

However, he dodged a driving ban after telling magistrates at the time he feared losing contact with his children if disqualified.
