City’s athletes on a high as triumph in taijijian discipline comes hot on heels of Grace Lau’s karate gold

Hong Kong’s Anthony Yeung Chung-hei won the city its second gold medal at the World Games in Chengdu on Saturday, topping the podium in wushu.

Yeung’s first-place finish in the taijijian combined event kept the Hong Kong team on a high after Grace Lau Mo-sheung’s karate gold on Friday.

It also secured the city’s best-ever performance at a World Games in terms of gold medals, having previously won solitary golds at the 2013 and 2022 events.
