The BJP has flayed the Congress government for not taking steps to strengthen the gram panchayat system in Telangana by not disbursing funds on time. In this aspect, it is no different from the previous BRS government, which has destroyed the PR system, maintained party president N. Ramchander Rao on Sunday.
Addressing a meeting at Sriramnagar village in Moinabad mandal as part of the ongoing public contact programme taken up by the party, Mr. Rao claimed that development of villages and their welfare is possible only through the BJP once it comes to power to form a double engine government.
