Gaza hostage's sister calls on IDF soldiers' parents to 'press to end the war'

With great difficulty, Merav Svirsky sat in the Knesset Finance Committee's meeting room this week. The sister of Itay – who was abducted and murdered in Hamas captivity and whose body was recovered – and the daughter of Orit and Rafi, who were murdered in their home in Kibbutz Be'eri on October 7, 2023, she has been coming to the Knesset once, sometimes twice a week, for more than 18 months.
