Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Thursday distributed laptops to students, who studied in schools run by the Adi Dravida and Tribal Welfare Department and got admission into prestigious educational institutions to pursue higher education.

These students secured admissions into educational institutions such as Indian Institute of Technology, Central universities, National Institute of Fashion Technology, National Law University, University of Delhi, Miranda House, among others. A total of 136 such students secured admissions into prestigious institutions during 2025-26.

Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, Minister M. Mathiventhan, Chief Secretary N. Muruganandam, Secretary of Adi Dravida and Tribal Welfare Department G. Laxmi Priya, Commissioner of Adi Dravida Welfare T. Anand, Director of Tribal Welfare S. Annadurai and senior officials were also present.
