Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin virtually inaugurated several development and welfare projects in Coimbatore district on Monday through video conferencing.
The projects included the Samooga Needhi Viduthi (Social Justice Hostel), constructed at a cost of ₹14.87 crore, to provide accommodation for 250 students, a new building for the Siddha medical division in Coimbatore city, mobile medical units, and houses built for tribal families under the Tholkudi housing scheme.
He also inaugurated a new building for the Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare School at Thondamuthur and Village Knowledge Centres at Kothavadi and S.P. Vadugapalayam villages aimed at improving education and community services.
