The Additional District and Sessions Judge, Fast Track Sessions Court-2., K.S. Maanu, has sentenced Mansoor alias Mohammed Mansoor, 30, of Sajipa Nadu village, to twenty years imprisonment and imposed fine of ₹55,000 on finding him guilty of raping a 16-year-old girl.
Mansoor was accused of raping the 16-year-old girl on May 30, 2023, and recording the act on his mobile phone after threatening her. The victim’s complaint got registered on December 23, 2023, for offences under Section 6 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and under sections 363, 376 (2)(N), 376 (3), 506 of Indian Penal Code in the Mangaluru Women Police Station.
