A person allegedly murdered his father and brother over a property dispute at Ganguru in Holenarasipur taluk in the early hours on Thursday. The deceased are Deve Gowda, 70, and his son Manjunath, 48. They were allegedly murdered by Nagaraj alias Mohan, 41, whom the police arrested later.
Deve Gowda and Jayamma had five children, including two sons. Three daughters had been married off, while two sons remained unmarried. While Manjunath stayed with his parents, Nagaraj was living separately and he often picked up arguments with his parents and brother over sharing property.
