Anna Wintour is stepping down from her role as editor-in-chief of Vogue after 37 years leading the magazine, according to multiple reports.
Wintour announced the move to staff this week, The Daily Front Row and Women’s Wear Daily reported. The iconic British editor will continue on in her roles as Condé Nast’s global chief content officer and global editorial director at Vogue, according to the outlets.
It’s unclear when her last day as editor-in-chief will be, but WWD reported the hunt for her replacement is underway.
Vogue did not immediately respond to a HuffPost request for comment.
