One person was taken into custody by the IS Sadan police and the South-East Zone of the Commissioner’s Task Force, while transporting 45 kilograms of dry ganja to Mangalhat in Hyderabad. Contraband worth ₹11.25 lakh was seized during a raid near Sadan X road.
The accused was identified as Janapala Harikrishna, a 28-year-old cab driver from Yadadri district. During his questioning, Harikrishna revealed that he had been lured into the illegal trade by his childhood friend Thunam Aravind, a peddler from Mahabubabad district.
