Tyrese Haliburton suffers lower right leg injury during first quarter of NBA Finals Game 7

OKLAHOMA CITY — Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton suffered a lower right leg injury with about five minutes left in the first quarter of Game 7 of the NBA Finals.

Haliburton, who was playing with a strained right calf, fell without contact as he was attempting to dribble past Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and immediately pounded the court in agony without getting up.

A replay showed his already-injured calf ripple as he fell. Indiana confirmed the injury as a “right lower leg injury” soon after he went down.
