The army's Spokesperson stated that in recent days, the IDF attacked over 120 launchers and also 20 ground-to-ground missiles. The military says Iran possesses thousands of such missiles, and that alongside its nuclear program, this is a central reason for going to war
Israel Defense Forces Spokesperson Brig. Gen. Effie Defrin said today (Monday) in a press statement that since the start of the fighting in Iran, the IDF has destroyed over 120 missile launchers – about a third of Iran's total number of launchers. According to Defrin, "The air force destroyed more than 20 ground-to-ground missiles last night simultaneously, before they could be launched." He added that during the night, about 100 military targets were struck in Isfahan, including missile storage sites and command centers where launch teams were preparing to fire.
Additionally, the military confirmed today that the air force targeted yesterday the head of the Revolutionary Guards' Intelligence Organization and his deputy, as well as two other senior Iranian officials. According to the military, the other senior figures killed in the attack are head of the Quds Force intelligence department, Mohsen Bakri, and his deputy, Abu al-Fadl Nikouei.
