Kim Kardashian has graduated her law program.
“I finally graduated law school after six years!!!” Kardashian wrote on her Instagram stories.
Kim Kardashian’s sister Khloe Kardashian posted scenes from Wednesday’s celebration lunch on her Instagram stories. CNN political commentator Van Jones spoke, congratulating Kim Kardashian on her work in prison reform.
“Six years ago, seven years ago, when you were working on criminal justice, you were not embraced by anybody,” Jones said in his speech.
The reality TV star and beauty mogul got her start in law and criminal justice after she saw a video about Alice Marie Johnson, a woman who was in prison for life for a nonviolent drug crime. Kim Kardashian asked President Donald Trump to grant Johnson clemency, which he did in 2018, and Johnson was released. Since then, Kim Kardashian has helped free at least 17 people from prison.
