While many aspiring attorneys celebrated their California Bar Exam results Saturday, Nov. 8, others received disappointing news, including on-screen lawyer Kim Kardashian.

"The Kardashians" star revealed she did not pass the infamous test required to be a licensed attorney in the state on social media after starting her law journey six years ago. She said she has no plans to stop, determined to take the test again until she passes.

"Well… I’m not a lawyer yet, I just play a very well-dressed one on TV," she wrote, acknowledging her new role in Ryan Murphy's not-so critically acclaimed series "All's Fair." "I’m still all in until I pass the bar. No shortcuts, no giving up – just more studying and even more determination."

She continued: "Thank you to everyone who has supported and encouraged me along the way so far. Falling short isn’t failure – it’s fuel. I was so close to passing the exam and that only motivates me even more. Let’s Go!"

Widely considered one of the most difficult bar exams in the country, only 53.8% of test-takers passed the previous California exam in July 2024 and in February 2024, according to the State Bar of California.
