Ex-Army man steals 12 firearms, 1,900 rounds in Hyderabad; wife forces surrender. How theft unfolded

A retired Army Havildar allegedly stole 12 firearms and nearly 1,900 rounds of ammunition from his former unit before hiding the weapons and travelling to Achampet. Police said he also picked up passengers to create an impression he was working for a livelihood. His wife later confronted him, after which he surrendered and helped authorities recover the stolen cache.
