Penn Medicine Receives $50M Gift to Advance Research

Penn Medicine, the University of Pennsylvania’s medical school, has received a $50 million gift to establish a new center and fund to accelerate research on treatments for cancer, autoimmune diseases, infectious diseases and other serious illnesses, a spokesperson for Penn Medicine confirmed Thursday.
