Lagos Group Asks Eko Disco To Reconnect Ajegunle Community, Stop Exploitative Billing

The Ajegunle Peoples Movement (APM) has demanded the immediate reconnection of Ibitoye Community in Ajeromi-Ifelodun Local Government Area of Lagos State, accusing the Eko Power Distribution Company (Eko Disco) of exploitative billing practices and using disconnection to intimidate residents demanding accountability. The group made the demand in a statement signed by its Secretary, Comrade Babatunde Yusuf, on Tuesday, in which it condemned what it described as the “unjust disconnection” of the community by the electricity distribution company.
