OFAC designated multiple Iranian airlines under Operation Economic Outcast, targeting aviation carriers linked to IRGC military logistics

Targets include nine companies based outside of Islamic Republic, but unclear if Chinese firms to face sanctions, as US seeks to up economic pain on Tehran after 6 months of war

The targets include Iranian airlines and operators in Malaysia, Turkey, Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates, including Mahan Air.
