Fire chief confirms how pilot of crashed Amazon cargo plane in Miami was rescued

The Boeing 767-300, operated by 21 Air from Puerto Rico, struck several vehicles near an Amazon warehouse parking lot before bursting into flames. Technical rescue teams extracted trapped individuals from damaged vehicles and rescued the pilot and co-pilot from the burning aircraft. Emergency responders were forced to flood the plane's active left engine to disable it while conducting the rescue effort. The National Transportation Safety Board has launched an investigation into the crash, with both Amazon and 21 Air pledging full co-operation.
