British crypto billionaire Ben Delo donates more millions to Reform UK

Delo was convicted in the US four years ago over failings in an anti-money laundering programme before receiving a pardon from Donald Trump. Reform UK believes Delo, who returned to Britain to help build a war chest for the next general election, will not be affected by the new overseas donor cap. Electoral Commission figures show Reform UK raised £5.3m in second-quarter donations, outpacing Labour (£3.5m), the Conservatives (£2.8m), and the Liberal Democrats (£1.3m). Parliament's standards watchdog is currently investigating whether a separate £5m gift to Nigel Farage from crypto investor Christopher Harborne should have been declared.
