Supermarket prices dropped 0.15% in August compared with August 2025, according to a survey by the Research Institute of Retail Consumer Goods (IELKA) released on Wednesday.

No price hikes were recorded in the food group, which means that the agreement to freeze prices in July-August was largely respected.
