Lindsay Clancy jury once again tells judge they can’t reach a verdict

At around 2:15 p.m., they sent a note to the judge, saying they still could not come to an agreement.The judge again instructed them to keep trying, a common instruction in criminal trials when juries say they're having trouble reaching a verdict.If jurors can’t agree on a verdict, the judge could declare a mistrial. Prosecutors would then have to decide whether to put Clancy on trial again, drop the charges or try to negotiate a plea deal with her lawyer.Clancy, a former labor and delivery nurse in Massachusetts, doesn’t deny strangling her three children in their home in 2023. But her attorney argues that postpartum psychosis led to her actions.
