Parts of southeast Texas are facing life-threatening flash flooding on Wednesday as the remnants of Tropical Storm Edouard slam the region with heavy rain.

A developing system along the Gulf Coast may strengthen to Tropical Storm Edouard and make landfall in Texas near the Louisiana border on Tuesday morning.

Tropical Storm Edouard has formed in the Gulf of Mexico and is expected to gain strength before bringing potentially heavy rains and flooding into parts of Texas and Louisiana

And next week, Hurricane Lowell could swing sharply toward Hawaii.
