Police arrested Choudhury in June last year following an investigation, with his bank freezing his account to recover £42,866 after detecting suspicious activity. Breast Cancer Now confirmed that a thorough review of internal procedures was conducted and all funds have since been recovered, ensuring the charity suffered no overall financial loss.
