Russia is deploying faster, jet-powered versions of its Shahed attack drones. Known as Geran-3, Geran-4 and Geran-5, they are harder to intercept and are increasingly used to strike targets deep inside Ukraine.

Ukrainian presidential adviser Serhii "Flash" Beskrestnov says Russia's jet-powered Shahed drone use rose from 1,500 to over 2,500 in a month.

As Russia scales up production of its jet-powered drones — the Geran-4 and Geran-5 — Ukraine is struggling to shoot them down amid prolonged waves of attacks.
