Ather Energy expects its new Konark electric scooter to deliver higher gross margins than the Rizta within a year, CEO Tarun Mehta told ET. Built on a lower-cost platform, the Konark will target mass-market buyers. Ather plans to expand production capacity while improving profitability and expects its new plant to add capacity from January.
