The US Central Command (Centcom) said Thursday that internationally recognised shipping lanes in the Strait of Hormuz are open after its forces cleared sea mines.

CENTCOM completed mine clearance in the Strait of Hormuz and imposed a naval blockade that has halted Iranian oil exports since mid-July 2026.
