Hindalco commissions India’s first superfine PPT ATH plant in Belagavi

Belagavi: Hindalco Industries Ltd, the metals flagship of the Aditya Birla Group, has commissioned India’s first greenfield manufacturing facility for superfine precipitated aluminium trihydrate (PPT ATH) in Belagavi. The facility is expected to strengthen the company’s specialty materials portfolio and reduce India’s dependence on imports for critical fire-safety applications.
