The National Weather Service named Tropical Storm Dolly Thursday, as it makes its way across the Atlantic Ocean toward the eastern Caribbean.

Tropical Storm Dolly has formed in the Atlantic Ocean far from land. The U.S. National Hurricane Center in Miami says Thursday it will start issuing advisories on Dolly.

Tropical Storm Dolly, the fourth tropical cyclone of the 2026 hurricane season, formed in the Atlantic Thursday.

Dolly is expected to weaken before reaching the northeastern Caribbean islands, bringing some much-needed rainfall but limited wind impacts.
