The Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, has condemned the escalating post-election violence and killings in parts of Osun State, calling on security agencies to swiftly arrest those responsible. Oyetola, who is also a former governor of Osun State, in a statement shared on X on Tuesday, said the violence was a grave threat to the peace, heritage and democratic values of the state. He said no political ambition, localised transition or commercial interest could justify the killing of anyone.
