Karnataka HC: Marriage need not be registered under Special Marriage Act for spouse to seek divorce under Section 27

The Karnataka High Court has held that registration of a marriage under Section 15 of the Special Marriage Act, 1954 is not mandatory for maintaining a petition for divorce under Section 27 of the Act.
