Osun Govt Raises Alarm Over Alleged Plan To Attack LG Councils, Motor Parks

The Osun State Government has raised the alarm over alleged plans by some stakeholders to ignite fresh rounds of crisis across local government councils and motor parks in the state, warning that any attempt to disrupt public peace would be resisted. The government, in a statement issued on Sunday by the Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Oluomo Kolapo Alimi, urged political actors and residents to shun violence and allow the state to enter a period of post-election reconciliation and peace-building.
