Cuban Ambassador Calls For End To US Blockade As Cuba Marks Fidel Castro's Centenary In Lagos

The Cuban Ambassador to Nigeria, Miriam Morales Palmero, has called for the immediate lifting of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States government against Cuba, saying the policy has caused severe hardship for the Cuban people. Morales Palmero made the call in Lagos State, while delivering a speech at an official ceremony marking the centenary of the birth of Cuba’s revolutionary leader and former President, Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.
