Tamil Nadu CM Vijay softens delimitation stand, seeks no loss for South in Lok Sabha

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay warned against population-based Lok Sabha seat redistribution. He urged the Union government to assure states would not lose representation percentage. Vijay also raised concerns regarding the Cauvery water dispute and upstream interventions. He stressed the need to protect Tamil Nadu's rights as a lower riparian state. The Chief Minister called for implementing Supreme Court and tribunal orders on Cauvery.
