OpenAI chief revenue officer Denise Dresser is stepping down after less than a year with the ChatGPT-maker, adding to a wave of high-profile leadership departures as the firm prepares for an anticipated initial public offering (IPO). OpenAI said that Dresser is leaving to “pursue other opportunities.” To fill the vacancy, the company has appointed Dali Rajic, former President and Chief Operating Officer of cybersecurity firm Wiz, as its new Chief Revenue Officer, as per a report by CNBC.

The former operating chief is starting a new venture following several departures across leadership and safety teams at OpenAI.

Denise Dresser's sudden departure could be a major blow to OpenAI as it pursues a blockbuster IPO.
