A 102-year-old great-grandfather has died in hospital days after he was allegedly assaulted at a pub in Cwmbran, South Wales.
Great-grandfather Phillip Ormerod, 102, who died after allegedly being assaulted at the Crow’s Nest pub in Cwmbran on August 1, was a “pub character” who had been diagnosed with dementia, his son Robert Ormerod has said.
