The Ebola outbreak in eastern Congo is spreading at a pace that could make it the deadliest Ebola outbreak ever recorded, according to the World Health Organization.

The WHO said the outbreak in eastern Congo has killed more than 2,000 people among more than 4,300 reported cases.

DRC has recorded 4,449 confirmed cases and 2,061 deaths across five provinces and 53 health zones.
