Bengaluru new parking rules: Parking on road may cost car owners up to Rs 25,000 a year under proposed policy

Bengaluru may introduce annual parking fees of up to Rs 25,000 for cars parked on residential roads under the proposed Greater Bengaluru Area (Parking) Rules, 2026. The draft also proposes hourly charges for on-street parking and lower rates for off-street facilities.
