Karoline Leavitt, the youngest-ever White House press secretary, announced that she is leaving the role to spend more time with her family.

President Donald Trump says White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt will be leaving the administration at the end of the month to spend time with her young family.

Leavitt, who is the youngest White House press secretary every, gave birth in May to a girl, her second child.

Leavitt, 28, was the youngest White House press secretary in history when Trump appointed her early during his transition.
