Portfolio allocation done, Karnataka Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar huddles with Ministers to strategise on countering opposition

Ahead of the Monsoon Session of the legislature, which is expected to be stormy, the Congress Ministers met to discuss strategies to counter the Opposition’s anticipated onslaught. The session will be the first for D.K. Shivakumar as the Chief Minister, and will also be the first session for eight first-time Ministers, who are likely to be under pressure owing to the delay in allocation of the portfolios.
