Forecasters say Tropical Storm Cristobal has formed in the Atlantic Ocean well west of the Azores. The National Hurricane Center in Miami says Wednesday there were no coastal watches or warnings in effect and the storm was forecast to dissipate on Thursday.

A developing system in the Atlantic could become Cristobal in the next few days. Its future track and intensity are currently uncertain.
