A 7.4-magnitude earthquake in Colombia has killed more than 250 people, with rescue teams continuing to search through the rubble for survivors. Peru has also sent humanitarian aid and is preparing to deploy trained rescuers.

Rescuers are scrambling to find survivors after the 7.4-magnitude quake collapsed at least 61 buildings, including a hospital, and damaged some 1600 others.
